I never dated in high school because I didn’t like the way boys treated girls. They would kiss and run, hide their hands behind the back when a baby was created and worse of all deny you as a lover. The male adults around me gave their wives and partners STDs, got themselves cared for but never say a word to the partners. A friend or family had to clue them in.
