Back in the day I knew nothing about computers. I never took a computer course in high school so my first course was challenging, but an exciting adventure to embark.

My first experience with computers was in college when I was in my early twenties. I took a programming class for Business Administration and thought it fascinating.

I fell in love with computer specializing in 1995 when I bought my first Microsoft Computer desktop playing around in the setting, updating, and upgrading ram memory on my kitchen counter.

I left a 4 year college when I was 25 to care for a my sick child who was born with a birth defect. 18 years later I went back to a 2 year technical college continuing my major in Business Administration.

After one semester at this business college I realize my passion in computers was strong, so I changed my major to Computer Technology.

8 years later my part-time studies paid off. As of May 10th 2013 I graduated with a Computer Technology Associate Degree in Applied Science at age 52.

Back before computer became my life, I couldn’t bear the thought of being an end-user depending on computer repair persons to keep my computer happy. I wanted to know how to fix my own and not be at mercy of expensive computer repairs. How To Geek article “How Computer Manufacturers Are Paid to Make Your Laptop Worse

Having a Certificate in End User Support, I can help others keep their computers working properly is just one reason among others why I studied computers.

A Certificate in Computer Specialist gave me the knowledge of programming that makes my computer, Internet projects fun.

My iPad and Wifi keeps me mentally moving when I’m limited in my movements due to Multiple Sclerosis, Scoliosis, and Glaucoma and all it’s aggregating symptoms.
